July 10, 2014 - LOTW indicated a few more confirmations. I just updated my "Summertime 6M Challenge" chart! Almost half way to confirming all fifty states on 50 Mhz via LOTW. There are several contacts with "needed" stated, unfortunately these operators do no use LOTW.
July 6, 2014 - There was a fantastic opening on 6M this afternoon! I contacted several more stations that use LOTW. I'm hopeful these operators will confirm a few more 6M Phone contacts soon.
June 27, 2014 - This summer, I hope to log and confirm as many states as possible via LOTW. Thanks to all who have confirmed a 6M QSO via LOTW thus far! I will be volunteering at W1AW/3 (W3AO) Filed Day 2014 on Saturday during the daytime. Then, I'll try to make some 6M contacts from my primary station on Saturday evening / night. I hope conditions permit a nice "bump" to confirm a few extra states.
June 27, 2014 - Some of the more difficult states to confirm will likely be Alaska and Hawaii. The following propagation report (courtesy of ClubLog) is based on historical data. It shows potential times to make these contacts during the month of July. Unfortunately, these reports are for the entire USA and are not specific to the East Coast.
June 23, 2014 - There was a great opening on six meters yesterday evening. As a 6M contest was winding down, I realized that I've never focused on the 6M Worked All States endorsement. Ah-ha! My summer 2014 challenge is to work as many states as possible on 6M SSB.
