July 11, 2014 - I've spotted some DX on the cluster but HF band conditions have not been favorable. East Malaysia and Paulu are two examples of spots that have been too weak to contact from my station. Here are propagation forecasts to contact each of these regions (via ClubLog) on 20M:

17m SSB SWL at 1500Z |
June 14, 2014 (11:00am) - The bands are not as good today. Yesterday served up a great "run" and I added several new entities. Propagation today is less compelling. I'm hopeful it will "perk up" later today.
Right now (1500Z), 17 M has the best signals. I'm trying to contact Charly, HS0ZCW on 17M SSB but there are just too many other stations wanting a QSO. He's running the pile-up based on call sign numbers and is "clear readable" here. Unfortunately, he gives each call district one or two shots and then he dashes to the next number.
Update (12:15pm) - Propagation to Thailand just faded away. James, 9V1YC is active on 15M SSB and I'm able to make a "weak readable" SWL copy. He has quite a pile-up from North America.
There are plenty of "most wanted" spots on the cluster for 17M, but the copy is poor for all stations. I just jumped over to 15M and completed a QSO with ZF2DX (LoTW user). I have several unconfirmed QSO's with the Cayman Islands and hope ZD2DX uploads a confirmation soon. I'd like to achieve 200 DXCC All Band Mixed entities this summer.
June 13, 2014 - Several awesome new Q's are in the log since June 1st. And I made two successful contacts with new entities on my "Summertime DX Wish-list": Sable Island and St. Lucia. In fact, I just worked J6/G0VJG on a second band. Thanks for contacts on 20M and 17M Phone, Nobby! I look forward to your LoTW confirmation from St. Lucia.
May 31, 2014 - There have been several long gaps in my DX activity during the past couple of years. Health, work and other concerns have become a significant preoccupation and diverted my attention. I've missed it.

So, I want to increase my time DX'ing this summer. It's great past time that's deeply relaxing. My ears are peaked for Nu Island, New Providence Island, Palestine, Saipan, Sable Island and Chateau du Taureau Island. These are just a few new-to-me entities I hope to contact during the next few weeks.
Here's more information on my DX "wish-list" for June and July 2014:
