May 26, 2014 (20:00Z) - Seventeen meters (18Mhz) was hopping with amazing changes this afternoon! Stations began with "very strong readable" (so-called 59) on SSB and then would disappear within minutes. So far, I've SWL'ed / contacted: Azores, Belgium, Bulgaria, Falkland Islands, Greenland, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Norway, Poland, Sweden Wales and several stations in New England and West Virginia. The HEX antenna was directed toward the NW (Japan) for all of these observations.
It seems 15M is also active, but the spots are not (yet) as interesting.
