My participation in the CQWW DX SSB 2013 contest was limited to contacting new DXCC Entities (band / mode). 80/75 Meter antenna woes limited my search and pounce (S&P) for nighttime contacts, yet several important entities were added. My strategy was simple: new entities (all-time and band specific) with a a bias to confirming operators using LoTW.
Among several new QSO's that will count toward DXCC are:

- AH0BT - Mariana
- 5W1SA - Samoa
- ZD80 - Ascension Island
- VP2MDG - Monserrat
- UP0L - Kazakhstan
- A73A - Qatar
- 3V7A - Tunisia
- RI1ANU - South Shetland
